12th June 2011 Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip Wind Direction: SE / E? Wind Stength: F 4- 5 Surf / Sea State: ROUGH BUMPY Air Temperature: COLD Sea Temperature: COLD Weather: RAIN COLD Max Speed: 24.74 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 6.8 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Arrived 2 ish Squiz and Maker out on 7.5 started rigging 7.8 but quickly change to 7.0 as wind filled in. The sea didn't look lumpy till u start sailing and I didn't enjoy it, as fell in loads as the slalom sail with 3 cams was hard to control. The wind was up/down so sometimes it was OK Quit after 1/2 hr with one broken batten. A few more wave head turned up and enjoy it, but having drunk loads of polluted water it wasn't enjoyable for me. May need to look at a rotaional around 6.5 I gues |
